Romantic and always friendly Sweden annually hosts tens of millions of tourists from all over the world. This country is very much loved and Russian tourists. First of all, our compatriots love to visit the Swedish ski resorts. However, there are many interesting and noteworthy places in the main cities of this country.

What do you need to travel to Sweden?

In order to go to this Scandinavian country, a tourist must necessarily issue a Schengen visa. Unfortunately, without this document, entry into the territory of Sweden is strictly prohibited. You can apply for a Swedish visa at the embassy of this country, the Consulate General or the visa center. The Consulate General of Sweden is in St. Petersburg, and the embassy in Moscow. In addition, in the cities of Kaliningrad, Vladivostok, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Krasnoyarsk and many other Russian cities, visa centers operate accepting documents for the registration of a Swedish visa.

The second step is to collect the necessary documents. Perhaps, this step is the most difficult. The tourist should provide such documents for a visa to Sweden, as a passport, national passport, color photos, a certificate from the job, a bank statement and a self-filled questionnaire. And the questionnaire should be filled exclusively in Swedish or English. If a child visa is issued, then the signature under this document should be put by one of the parents of the child.

The third step is the provision of financial guarantees. The consulate of Sweden and the visa centers are not provided with a bank statement. They usually require confirmation of the required amount of money in the deposit account at the rate of 40 Euro per person per day.

What to see in Sweden?

After the visa is issued, the tourist, at last, can enjoy all the sights of this beautiful country. First of all, tourists are interested in the diversity of Swedish castles. Travelers are most interested in the unique Gripsholm Castle. It is distinguished by its unique bright carmine color. In addition, it is located on the island.
