Lemon Festival in Menton
Lemon Festival is an annual festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists from around the world. It starts on 15 February and lasts about two weeks. It is taking place in the French town of Menton on the Riviera that.
In France, the Lemon Festival in importance second only to Carnival in Nice. The subtropical climate of the French Riviera is the best suited for growing the most succulent and aromatic citrus. Each year is assigned a special theme of the festival. For example, in 2013, the authors were inspired by the hero of Jules Verne’s novel «Around the World in 80 days» Phileas Fogg. In this year the main theme of the festival will be the product of «20 thousand leagues under the sea». In the evening, the festival hosts music shows and svetopredstavleniya, accompanied by dancing and merriment. A completed holiday colorful and festive fireworks.
